What are the dates of Climb the King?
Climb the King starts Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday, May 25) and ends Labor Day Weekend (Monday, September 2)
When will the chairlift be operating?
May 25 - September 2 — 9:00am to 6:00pm
Extended Hours: June 15 - August 18 — 9:00am to 8:00pm
What counts as a "comparable peak"?
Any peak that you climb, which you consider to be as fun and challenging as Snow King. Some examples of peaks that count are the Grand Teton, Old Pass road, Jackson Peak and even out of town peaks.
Do peaks higher than Snow King count as more summits?
Use your personal gauge as to “intent” of your climbs.
Do I have to climb to the top of Snow King mountain, what if I can only make it part way up?
Climbing any height up any peak that you consider significant to you can be counted as a summit.

What forms of payment can I use for my donation?
You can pay through climbtheking.org using your VISA or Master card. You can also pay with a check and with credit cards at the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center or the mail. At this time, we do not accept payment through Pay Pal.
I just signed up for Climb the King, but have been hiking since the beginning of the summer. Can I count my backlogged climbs?
Yes, climbs before you officially signed up can be counted as long as they are after Memorial Day weekend.
Where do I pick up my hat?
Hats can be picked up when you register at the Kick Off on June 1st at the base of Snow King, or at the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center during normal business of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday at 640 East Broadway (across from St. John’s hospital). Hats are available while they last, so register early.
